Training on Protection and Safeguarding

🌟 Strengthening Youth Protection in Associations: A Priority! 🌟
On August 9, 2024, our organization, ASDev, had the honor of hosting a crucial training session organized by Local Youth Corner Cameroon on safeguarding and protecting youth within associations. This initiative, supported by European Union and Search for Common Ground, brought together 10 participants representing 5 associations from the Northern Consortium.
🔍 Training Objectives:
Raise awareness of the importance of safeguarding and protecting youth.
Identify risks and learn how to respond effectively.
Integrate protective practices into the daily activities of associations.
Through an interactive approach and practical exercises, participants were able to develop safeguarding policies tailored to their specific contexts.
This training marks an important step towards creating safer environments for youth within our associations. We extend our thanks to Local Youth Corner Cameroon for organizing this event and to all the participants for their commitment!
💡 Recommendation: Continue to build capacity to ensure the integration of strong protective practices in CSO activities.
