Stepdown Common Ground Approach

🌟 Capacity Building for Cameroonian Youth Leaders in Peace and Social Cohesion 🇨🇲

On Saturday, 10th August 2024, ASDev and the four other associations of the Northern Consortium organised a workshop to share the outcomes of the training on the Common Ground approach.

🎯 Objectives achieved:
✅ Strengthening conflict resolution capabilities
✅ Training in the Common Ground approach

📊 Key figures:
– 15 youth association leaders trained
– 5 intensive training modules
– 92.86% success rate in the post-test
– 85.71% overall participant satisfaction

🔑 Modules covered:
1. Identity
2. Conflict and violence
3. Collaborative vs antagonistic approaches
4. Perspectives and perceptions
5. Active listening

This training is part of the effort to extend the impact of the Common Ground approach to a greater number of regional organisations in Cameroon.
